Green Tech Skillnet

Green Tech Skillnet aims to help Ireland meet 2030 climate targets and beyond. We do this by ensuring that the workforce has the capability, capacity, and continuity to deliver projects that will reduce carbon emissions.

We work with employers to understand urgent skill needs they see in their companies and supply chain. We communicate through surveys, one to one discussions and focus group. We also commission skills research with industry experts. When we identify the need we work with the industry to develop a programme to address the skill gap. We partner with experts, training providers and higher education to develop courses. These courses cover various areas of expertise, and runs from entry level and graduate programmes up to senior specialists and senior management.
